Hey, Larry! Fellow Ohioan here. North Columbus bred, born and raised by way of a long line of Appalachian White Trash. I just watched the video from a few days ago talking about your drive down the Natchez Trace to Muscle Shoals. Brought back great memories of a motorcycle trip I took in the fall of 2014. I just disappeared for two weeks on the bike as I rode to Nashville, picked up the Trace, and spent a few days riding all 444 miles stopping to see the sights. I fueled up in little towns, had my meals at the counters of Mom and Pop diners, kicked around Tupelo (love that town) and Jackson Mississippi. Once I hit Natchez I headed north on Hwy 61 and wound up in Clarksdale, MS. Quite the trip for music obsessed guitar hack from the Buckeye state. Two weeks and 2000 miles later I arrived back home with a load of stories, a bunch of new friends and great memories. Thanks for helping bring them back to mind and making me smile.

I’m starting to poke around for my first vintage guitar. Something from Gibson, most likely pre 65 with the wider nut if I can. I know you sell some pretty awesome stuff from time to time. Is there a mailing list or anything I can get on to make sure I don’t miss that stuff when it comes up?

I have a question about a double neck Gibson that a seller on Reverb has for sale and says he has it on “good authority” that you once owned this guitar. CS100123 is the serial number. It has DEMO stamped into the 6 string headstock. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. If there is any documentation you may have kept for it over the years, if this was indeed yours, would you be willing to send? Take care and have a great Christmas and New Year.
