FAQ

Download FAQ

Q: I can’t find the email with the download link(s). Where is it?

A: You will receive 2 emails after you complete your purchase for any download purchase, the first will be a confirmation of your order and the next email will contain the link(s) for your download(s). The emails are usually immediate, however, depending on your internet connection and speed, there may be a short delay. Also, please check your spam folder, the emails get filtered out at times. We are happy to resend the email to you, just let us know by sending an email to david@thesessionman.com and we’ll get another email with the download link(s) out to you.

Q: How many devices can I use to watch the show or listen to the music?

A: For security reasons, there are limits to the number of IP devices allowed to watch the show or download the music. This helps prevent the download links from being unlawfully distributed. With that in mind, you have access to 3 devices to watch the show. We are more than happy to increase that count for you if you have more than 3 devices just please email us at david@theseesionman.com, and we’ll increase your limits.

Q: Why am I seeing an error message when I try and download the show or music files?

A: If you are getting an error message, it means that you have reached your download limit(s). If you have a slow connection, you may be clicking on the links more than a few times, which will cause your download limits to be maxed out. We can increase the number of downloads although we recommend just clicking one time on the link and giving it a moment to fully download before clicking it again. If your download count does reach your limit, just send an email to david@thesessionman.com and we will manually increase your download limits.

Q: It there a higher quality version of the video o download?

A: There is a higher quality version of the show available in a .mov format. The file is almost 4 gig so, due to it’s size, we are distributing the more standardized mp4 format. However, we can send you a link if you like, with the higher quality version attached, just send an email to david@thesessionman.com and we’ll get that link sent to you.

Q: How many different versions of the show are available?

A: There are 5 different versions of the show, ranging in quality and size. The 2 formats that are of the highest quality are a 720p mp4 and a 1080p .mov file. The others versions are smaller version of mp4 files, so if you are having issues downloading the larger files, please let us know and we can send you a smaller file size to try and download.

Q: My download stopped or is going too slow, why is this happening?

A: If your download is going too slow or only partially downloading, then the culprit is a bad internet connection or just slow internet speed. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do on our end to speed up the download, it just depends on your internet service provider, speed, the quality of the connection, and your location. Contact your internet service provider to see if they are having outages in your area or if there is some other issue with your internet account.

Q: My computer says I don’t have enough space for this download, what do I do?

A: You can either clear some space on your hard drive, by removing unwanted applications, pictures, or movie files, or we can send you a download link of the concert that is a smaller file size. Please email david@thesessionman.com and we’ll get a link with a different version out to you.

Q: I keep clicking on the download link and nothing is happening?

A: Every time you click on the download link, one of your attempts to download is recorded within your order and you are one step closer to your download limit. This is for security reasons. We are more than happy to increase your download attempts although you are most likely having a connection issue. Please send an email to david@thesessionman.com and we will increase those limits for you.

Best practice is to click on the link, one time only, and check to see if it’s downloading. Most computers have a download app or window that allows you to see how many things your are trying to download and what their progress is. Another thing we would recommend is to only download one thing at a time. Multiple downloads, even of the same file, will strain your computer processing speed and at times lock everything up. So, unless you have a super computer, it’s best to download one file at a time.
