  1. hey uncle, can you have our good friend Greg show us how to re-dress a semi-hollowbody electronics harness? i’ve convinced myself I can do it, but would love some help from a pro… i’m on a gretsch streamliner lol… please help!

  2. Hey, Tom, love what you do. We look forward to your posts; saw a youtube of you playing with Joe Walsh. Just wondering about that custom shop tele custom; I imagine it’s long gone – just curious (interested if it’s still available). Thanks!

  3. Hey Tom,
Can you talk about Augmented chords?? I’d love to know your thoughts. I wish someone would make them cool again…

  4. Hey Tom,
I just got Plexi Soul in the mail today and I don’t even own a record player! Ha ha Anyway, after getting hit by a drunk driver and losing the ability to use my left hand for quite awhile, I gave up on Guitar. Thanks to you and the Homeschool lessons, I’ve been playing Guitar again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  5. Heyyyy, just curious what is your recommended method of traveling with your precious guitars on planes for remote gigs?

  6. Hey Tommy

Greeting from Scotland, home of that shortbread you’re now addicted to 😉 My son has just started playing and I was thinking back to the first music and riffs I learnt and at that time I was heavily into AC/DC. So the question is has there ever been a more powerful combo of guitar slinging brothers in a band like Angus and Malcolm, I personally don’t think so but I’m slightly biased being from Glasgow. Special mention though to the Greenwood bros from Radiohead, King of Leon and the new kids on the block Hermanos Gutierrez.

You’re playing, lessons and chat is truly inspirational dude, cheers

  7. great show today uncle Larry , stuck in bed with bust knee , gigging next week trying my best to get it working again 🙂 love the that SG keep on rocking fella

  8. Uncle Larry, I watched a recent clip of Ann Wilson and her new guitar player was playing a Senn Strat that looked a lot like yours… Did he buy from you? Is it on loan?

  9. Tom, I’m guessing you’ve been at the CMAs the past few days, if so any video from it? As always thanks so much for being our HomeSkoolin’ Professor and the very best to you and yours!

  10. Hey Tom,

What’s up with artists doing presales of their upcoming albums months prior to their release? What’s the purpose? I know of one that has been over a year and the buyers are getting pissed. Doesn’t seem right to me.

    Thanks,
    Eric

  12. Hey Tom,
Just wanted to drop a quick note. Received my signed LP of Plexi Soul this past Friday exactly 7 days from when I placed the order! Can’t believe how fast they went from a pallet in the driveway to signed, shipped and delivered. Thanks for all you do for us Homeschoolers!

    All the Best,
    Ed

  13. Hey Tom! First of all, thanks for all the time you put into these videos – your channel is a seemingly endless vault of musical inspiration, amazing tones and kickass guitar playing. I’ve honestly never seen a more inspiring and creative musician… literally everything you play seems like it could be the beginning of an awesome song.
And now for a little request or suggestion: While your channel is the only one I actually subscribe to and view on a regular basis, I don’t always have time to watch the videos when they come out. So I was wondering if you’ve ever considered releasing them as podcasts as well. I certainly wouldn’t mind a little Uncle Larry in my ears on my work commute or morning run.
    Cheers, Tore

    • thank you for the kind words bro…..i’ve never considered making them podcasts, i’d have to edit out all the parts where i hold random stuff like old football cards up to the camera and say “dig this cats”

  14. Hey Tom,

You’re the man, dude. Please help a struggling lower fret wannabe player here.

You’ve mentioned you prefer low frets, low action, and a straight neck. How the heck do you not fret adjacent strings when you go for a big bend? It’s simple with jumbo frets – there is ample room to dig under the adjacent strings to push them out of the way of the bended string and off the fret at the same time. With lower frets, I can feel say the b string kind of slide close to where I’m pressing on the e string (especially on frets closer to the nut like the fifth fret and lower) and get fretted which is a weird feeling.

Are you able to dig under adjacent strings when you bend with your guitar setup, or are you technically fretting adjacent strings but muting unwanted notes with your right hand?

Text is probably a terrible medium to explain this, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  15. Hi Tommy, can you confirm which Music City Bridge you fitted on the basket bird? Is it the savvy or the stud finder?

  16. I like to think I’ve got some sort of innate view into “The mind of the Buk” being from Euclid and all (The North Coast) about the same vintage, but you said everything here and more. Yes, eternally grateful for Uncle Larry- barnacles and all. Been playing 40 plus years and was ready to lay it down when I found him. Somehow I came to realize it’s just between me and God (maybe) and it changfed everything for me. Thank you Little Tommy, you are a giant among souls…..

    • thank you bro..you are right….in the end, being a musician is just between you and God….and the IRS of course

  17. Dear Mr Bukovac,

I am compelled to write this as a thank you for all you have contributed to me becoming not only a better musician but also a more considerate a**hole. I have no idea how I found you in a sea of sh* te..kismet I guess, however I have been fortunate enough to be with you from the start of your channel..I immediately recognised that you have an innate ability to communicate ..as a you tube content provider (I apologise and use this description with disdain..‍♂️) you are the real deal…no bells or whistles..just straight to camera.. honest, vulnerable..with no BS.. I have learnt so much..I have laughed and cried..! I love the behind the scenes content..your friendships and relationships with other muso’s is just amazing..thank you for sharing your incredible life and gift with me..to conclude ..I wish you and your boys the sweetest that life can provide..you are a special person Mr Bukovac..realise this and stay exactly as you are..!!
    TTFN..Mark..!
